iPhone, Android, iPad oh my. As we approach the next evolution in computing your clients and customers are becoming more mobile. Come interact and learn from some of West Michigan's mobile superstar developers who are clients take advantage of these new platforms and connect with their customers.


Our panelists include:

Joe Johnston. As a Senior User Experience Specialist at Universal Mind, Joe Johnston describes his role as “not a designer, not a developer, but in-between”. He’s been creating great User Experiences well before the term "UX" was created. He specializes on delivering enterprise-grade, interactive software applications for the web, desktop, kiosks, and mobile and embedded devices.

Justin DeWind. Justin DeWind is a Project Lead at Atomic Object, a Grand Rapids-based software product development company. Since joining Atomic in September 2005, Justin has worked in a diverse set of technologies on many different projects. Justin's main area of specialty, however, is mobile application development, especially the iOS platform. He has recently worked on mobile applications for Stryker, Priority Health, and ArtPrize.

David Valko. Dave Valko is the VP for DVS Interactive in Grand Rapids, MI. DVS Interactive a division of DVS that designs and develops web, mobile, and desktop applications.
Dave Valko has been working in media production for over 15 years beginning with film production then moving to interactive CD-ROM, DVD and Blu-Ray. He has taught Interactive Media at Grand Valley State University and authored one of the first corporate Multi-Angle DVD's featuring Herman Miller's Aeron chair in the late 90's. Recently Dave has moved to the web, mobile and desktop development division of DVS where he has been focusing on dynamic web and ROM applications along with mobile web application development.
